Notes

This is one of the first maps showing underground railways from different companies on a single unified map, although it's published by a commercial company, Pickfords.

At the time, Pickfords helped transport luggage for people across London, particularly between the various mainline railway stations, but leaving people to make their own way across the city. They decided to publish a convenient leaflet showing all of the underground railways operating in Central London on a single map.

Although all lines are shown in black, they are labelled with their operating company.
